I've been "climbing my family tree" on and off for nearly 20 years, and it's been a fun adventure! My primary research experience is in eastern and northwestern North Carolina, especially the counties of Sampson, Wilkes, and Ashe. My research interests include the surrounding counties of eastern and northwestern North Carolina, as well as other states (including Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania) and countries (including England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Germany, Switzerland) of my ancestors' origin.
